The German discount supermarket chain has today announced that it is looking to add a second store here in Havant.
A full planning application has been lodged with Havant Borough Council & locals can have their say by either objecting or supporting the new proposed development.
Lidl say that the new store which will be located next to B&Q on Purbrook Way will bring more choice for residents and will complement existing local Lidl stores. The company has also confirmed that the Leigh Park store and others locally will continue to remain open.
Features of the new store
- Lidl will create up to 40 new jobs in Havant
- Car park with over 130 parking spaces plus bicycle & motorcycle spaces.
- Two electric vehicle charging points
- Lidl’s popular bakery
- Longer style tills with dual packing
- Customer toilets
Lidl have created a mini site on their website with full details and pictures of the development. You see this by clicking here.
